Teen Leadership Weekend

Camp Grove Point, Earleville, MD  Saturday 8:00am - Sunday 12:00pm

Spend a fantastic weekend exploring your Inner Leader!  Are you Setting Sights on the Silver Award?  Going for the Gold Award?  If so, there are opportunities for you to start you on your way through the requirements!  Ready to become a Program Aide?  Here's your chance to complete that award and be ready to work with a younger troop!  Or maybe you'd rather explore an IP - how about Orienteering, Sew Glam, Just Jewelry, Emergency Preparedness, On Your Own, Games for Life or From Stress to Success?  Or have fun completing one of the Focus Books such as On the Go, College 101 or Uniquely Me: The Real Deal!  Come for the weekend, or register just for Saturday or Sunday - it's up to you!

Hagley Museum Youth Leadership Program

Hagley Museum, Wilmington, DE

Twice a month, November 2007 through August 2008

 

Would you like to learn what it was like to live 200 years ago .... and then lead programs for museum visitors?  Apply to become one of twenty high school students (grades 10-12) selected for training at this hands-on museum dedicated to everyday life in the 1800's!  You will receive training twice a month on different topics, and then you will work with adults to develop programs for museum visitors which YOU will help lead!  Click on Hagley Museum Volunteers link, then go to Hagley Creek Kids to download info packet.
